The Lauren Trophy is awarded to the club who wins our annual inter-club RTV challenge. The 2015 competition starts with a meet at Brickhill on March 1st, 2015.
The 2015 competition will be held over four events:
March 1st – Brickhill
May 31st – Quainton
Sept 13th – Newton Longville
Oct 18th – Brickhill
(Note – May date not 100% confirmed yet)
The idea behind the competition is to be as inclusive as possible, accordingly, any member of the three clubs may turn up and compete. The competition is designed so that a poor performance by one team member doesn’t penalise the team, so no driver should be excluded for “not being good enough”. We actively encourage anyone and everyone to have a go! All you need is a 4×4 and the date free in your diary. NOTE you don’t have to be able to make all of the events to take part either!
If you are unsure what’s involved, what you need, or have any queries, please feel free to get in touch! See the Contact page.
A brief history
The day was deemed a great success and we then decided to extend to two further RTVs and award a prize for the overall winner of the three events.
During the summer of 2011 sadly we lost Lauren, daughter of Jon and Lisa Carter-Clarke. It was decided to name the trophy for the RTV competition in her honour.
